The logo is born from the passage of the Gospel of John 15, 9b: “Abide in my love”, addressing, at the same time, the abovementioned theme.
The cross is the symbol of the greatest expression of God’s love for humanity; a love without measure, free and unconditional, in which we are all invited to remain.
The cross is born from a tree that, with its branches and leaves, wants to represent the life of each consecrated which the beauty of their vocation, the joy of fraternity and the prophecy in the free care of others.
The heart, symbol par excellence of love, placed at the center of the logo, wants to be the starting point of this founding experience, which, in turn, is supported by the outline of a “hand” that represents the Divine Providence, a creative force, always present in the world and in the history.
In this context, “remaining” does not mean an interruption due to an unforeseen event. But, a necessary and desired stop, a nurturing to continue, conscious of being guided and sustained by the lymph that generates and regenerates life.
Through the Holy Spirit (element that divides the cross into two colours), the consecrated is called to restore to the world the love that God has bestowed upon him; a love that by His grace and mercy transformed us, saved us (Eph 2:4-5).
The desire is that, remaining in His love, the General Chapter and the Provincial Chapters may pass guided by the Divine Providence; may the Spirit of God, who with tenderness transforms and makes all things new, illumine the decisions and future steps of the Institute.
